REVIEW: AVA Drums 

I recieved my Q Sanding technologies sander and was initially impressed by the packaging. I also received 2 interface-pads that I purchased separately. One thin and one medium.

I work in the drum building industry, dealing with stave constructed drum sets. This sander works really well on the concave inner surfaces of larger sized shells. 

It works way better than a regular sander with a thick interface-pad. The thick interface-pads usually just absorb the vibrations of the sander and not a lot of work gets done. Ok for finish sanding, but if you want to remove more material the Q sander works great, utilizing its flexible backing pad. It conforms to the convex shape and applies a more even pressure across the entire sanding disc face. 

Very impressed with this item and I’ve tried quite a few other options!

Very pleasant to deal with too which is always a bonus!
