I recieved my Q Sanding technologies sander and was initially impressed by the packaging. I also received 2 interface-pads that I purchased separately. One thin and one medium.
I work in the drum building industry, dealing with stave constructed drum sets. This sander works really well on the concave inner surfaces of larger sized shells.
It works way better than a regular sander with a thick interface-pad. The thick interface-pads usually just absorb the vibrations of the sander and not a lot of work gets done. Ok for finish sanding, but if you want to remove more material the Q sander works great, utilizing its flexible backing pad. It conforms to the convex shape and applies a more even pressure across the entire sanding disc face.
Very impressed with this item and I’ve tried quite a few other options!
Very pleasant to deal with too which is always a bonus!

De Esdoorn has chosen for the Q-sander, because this machine makes sanding inside roundings simple and easy. So far it is the only handy machine that does this efficiently.
The sanding tables in our sanding department are now equipped with both a flat sander and a Q sander, giving you multiple options at one workplace.
It is no longer necessary to switch to a different workplace, which saves time. Q-sander is also immediately suitable for sanding smaller, straight surfaces, so that you are often done with one machine with your part.
Damaging the pricey normal backingpad is no longer a problem and hand sanding is almost no longer necessary.
Everyone can work safely with this

Recently purchased a Q sanding machine. it is really incredible how well it works. I have been working on boats for 36 years, if I had this machine before this would have saved me so much time, besides, it sand much better and more accurately than by hand.
Sanding roundings has become a breeze and so fast and precise that you really have to try it. I can now sand every rounding perfectly with a machine.
I’m not easily impressed, but this really works.
